About the artists:
Elham Eshraghian-Haakansson is an award-winning Iranian Australian Bahá’i video artist and researcher. She has exhibited nationally and internationally. Her research navigates the sharing of stories, understanding their essential role in healing and mental wellbeing, in response to traumatic contexts. Working in multi-channel video art installations, she intersects theatrical and cinematic performance with film-poetry, archives and sound, seeking to document as a witness, cultural stories that transcend beyond a locality into the human condition.

Tami Xiang is a Perth-based Chinese-Australian artist and academic scholar. She has achieved a Master of Fine Arts from the University of Western Australia (UWA) and is currently undertaking a Ph.D. by research at UWA. Xiang's work has been exhibited in Australia, Mainland China, France, Italy, Taiwan and the U.S. Her work has been published in the New York Times and the Eye of Photography in France, ABC, Artlink in Australia. Her practice has included conceptual documentary works that look at conditions for Chinese families in the countryside.
