Rural Utopias Residency: Thanks to our producers and hosts

We want to say thankyou to all our local and emerging producers, as well as the regional hosts, community partners, and the many many locals who’ve been involved in Rural Utopias, and the past rounds of SPACED.

It’s been a big journey on this latest round of SPACED residencies, through COVID, changes in funding, and the amazing development of a partnership - working with the Art Gallery of WA to present the final exhibition of Rural Utopias in their Centenary Galleries (on display until 18 February 2024). As a small organisation that delivers big projects, we wouldn’t be able to achieve the scope of outcomes we have without huge input from our local producers, regional partners and the many members of the community who’ve gotten involved. We’ve talked with our partners and collaborators from Rural Utopias, and we want to deliver more benefits to them, to make regional arts stronger, develop greater capacity for working with socially engaged art projects, and provide more opportunities for local producers. We’ll soon be unveiling an initiative that will deliver more opportunities and professional development in this underserviced sector, that we’re very excited to share with you.

Please subscribe to our monthly email newsletter, and follow our pages on FB and instagram to make sure you hear about it as soon as we launch!
