Welcome to the wonderfully whacky world of Know Thy Neighbour #3 artist Amy Perejuan-Capone, and her community-informed interpretation of the City of Melville! Drawing from her own love of dogs and experience as a dog-mum, Amy started her residency acutely aware of the strong bonds between humans and dogs.

On Wednesday 22 March and Thursday 23 March we have two public program events to add depth and context to the currently installed Know Thy Neighbour #3 exhibition at Cullity Gallery.

The Know Thy Neighbour #3 exhibition catalogue is intended to be read as a companion piece to the works on show at Cullity Gallery until 25 March 2023.

The map can be realistic or fantastical, your local streets and parks, or to the moon! Where does your dog stop and sniff? Do they pull you in a particular direction? As part of UWA’s Empowering Communities Through Design masters unit coordinated by Lara Camilla Pinho, speakers from Know Thy Neighbour #3 will be discussing their work and reflecting on community engagement. ⠀⠀

Panellists will include Elham Eshraghian-Haakansson and Amy Perejuan-Capone, with Mayma Awaida (Curator, Know Thy Neighbour #3) and Soula Veyradier (Director Programs, Spaced) as moderators.
